Describing ourselves and what message our “about page” should convey, is a discussion that Fred and I continually have. We are great at telling our story in person, but for some reason sitting down to write about ourselves is extremely daunting, even for me the writer.
I guess we should give you the pertinent facts up front because we know how valuable your time is. Not only are we married and best friends but, we photograph every wedding together, it’s a pretty sweet gig. Occasionally I let Fred crash a smash the cake or family session when our amazing clients want to see their other “favorite” photographer.
We love adventure, coffee houses and Grinder’s as seen on Diners, Drive-in, and Dives. Our family and friends are our priority and getting together with any of them for a good meal and conversation is something we cherish.
About Deb: I am equally at home shooting a portrait, a landscape, action photography or documenting a wedding.
My images are defined by my subjects, my love of people and nature. And when I can combine the two I am one happy girl. There is nothing more gratifying than giving a portrait to a client that exemplifies their personality and how unique they are. I love the chaos of family sessions and calmly remind my clients that in this moment, this is their life. And in years to come, they will look back fondly on these times and will have their images to share with future generations.
As the lead photographer for Little D Studios, I spend a significant amount of time with families, little people and high school senior girls. Getting to know each of our clients and maintaining relationships with them is one of the things I treasure most about my job.
About Fred: Fred’s love of photography began in his late teens when he traveled the world while serving in the U.S. Navy. His adventurous nature continues to this day having hiked some 1900 miles of the Appalachian Trail both with and without me, aka Little D. Fred’s love of people is reflective of his wedding work, showcasing all that unfolds on one of the most important days in a couple’s lives. When he is not shooting weddings or doing my editing he can be found photographing youth sports. He captures the unseen emotions and antics of our littlest athletes. While coaches, parents, and grandparents are cheering on the latest hit or goal made, he is concentrating on the little one running down the baseline blowing bubbles as he prepares to touch first base, or showcasing that look of determination that a parent can’t see from the bleachers and sidelines.
I could continue on and on about what we do, but we would rather meet you in person hear your story, learn about your photography needs and go from there.
We look forward to meeting you.
Deb and Fred
